Peak Support Services is an established IT managed services and solutions provider to the SME market. Based from our Matlock office and from home, we are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team to provide remote & onsite IT support for our customer base. Suitable candidates should show excellent customer facing skills and an energetic, pro-active approach to the work combined with excellent technical strengths in Microsoft products/services and networking.

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to work in an environment where high quality ICT support is required as a valued service to our client base. Skills & Knowledge Required

With a minimum of 2 years’ experience, applicants should have a solid background in ICT troubleshooting; must be self-motivated, adaptable to changing customer requirements and be comfortable working on their own initiative. Applicants should be confident in resolving 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT and networking problems, be forward thinking, able to work as part of a team and possess good communication and organisational skills. Successful applicants will have a good working knowledge and/or certification within any of the following products:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 (including Azure AD, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019, SQL Server 2016/2019, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Experience with network infrastructure configuration and design including: switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, DNS
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Apps and working knowledge of VoIP telephone systems would be advantageous
  • Microsoft Certification as a MCITP/MCSE/MCSA/MCP would be advantageous
  • Experience with Cyber Essentials/PCI Compliance would be advantageous
