Design

More than ever before structured cabling systems are becoming increasingly complex & sophisticated, meeting greater demands and workloads. With emerging connectivity developments in hardware & software, structured cabling system requirements are becoming ever more stringent. The network physical infrastructure must incorporate security and integrity into its inherent design, cater for scalability as well as the ability to adapt to changes in technology.

Infrastructure

Peak Support Services Ltd has specialist expertise in designing, installing and commissioning structured cabling systems that meet all industry requirements. Installing the correct infrastructure to deliver voice and data networks is critical to business systems. Peak Support have expert knowledge of leading manufacturers’ structured cabling systems in copper, fibre optic cabling, blown fibre & wireless LANs to ensure that the client’s requirements are fully met.

Commissioning

Our engineers are fully trained in the complete range of cabling competencies covering installation, termination, inspection & conformance testing. All cabling work is commissioned with a Fluke DSP 4100 Network Cable Analyser and the full commissioning results together with the cabling diagrams are supplied to the customer on completion of the work. All Fibre Cabling will be tested using Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) equipment and the test results fully documented and made available to the customer. A Full Applications warranty certificate is issued on successful completion and commissioning of the cabling system.

Planning and Risk Assessment

We take great pride to ensure the system is delivered and installed sympathetic to the location and environment. Careful planning of all cable routes, core drilling, intumescent filling, conformance with fire regulations, H & S when working with ladders and hydraulic platforms for working at heights are all part of the risk assessments included as part of the installation work. We have considerable installation experience, working in a variety of industry sectors including local government, educational colleges and schools, historic buildings, churches and listed buildings.

Installation

During installation, Peak Support Services will attempt to minimise cabling installation disturbance by scheduling with the customer mutually convenient times to organise and install the major disturbance elements of the installation. If necessary, out of normal working hours and weekends may be considered if acceptable to the customer.

Peak Support are the appointed maintenance and cabling installation company for a number of Systems Software Houses and Management Consultants which cover a wide range of customers in a variety of industries including Corporate PLCs.
